A chunk of dark chocolate
Magically lightens up the room.
He helps cross the road
And makes flowers forever bloom.

Chocolate changes light bulbs
And sings soft ballads of love.
He gave tigers their stripes
And wings to the doves.

He types away business emails,
And absurd poems and letters
Of bittersweet love
And love makes life better.

All day he spends on Facebook
Updating gibberish,
Posting fatuities,
He plays games meanwhile,
Lingering for praises.

Mornings are basic,
At night, he dresses to kill.
Like the perfect gentleman he
Always tips with his bills.

Lies about the chocolate must
Surely, end here and now.
He is more than just a chunk, dark and bitter
Often misunderstood somehow.
